The mission of the BCCC is to support children through a coordinated response to child abuse that includes prevention, assessment and intervention.
The BCCC is governed by a Board of Directors whose role is to provide policy guidance to the BCCC, ensuring that the organization adheres to its mission.
The Board of Directors is developed following the requirements of the National Children’s Alliance accreditation process. Twelve to eighteen members are required and all members are non-compensated. The Alliance mandates that the board include representatives from every discipline on the Children’s Assessment Center’s multidisciplinary team. Other board members are members at large.
If you are interested in serving on the BCCC Board of Directors, contact Executive Director Jamie Rossow at (269) 556.9640.
The Berrien County Council for Children thanks our board members for their unselfish service and strong guidance in helping us stop child sexual abuse in Southwestern Michigan.
